CSMU RESULTS 2011- CSMU students protest against delayed results
: Several final year students of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University created ruckus on the campus on Wednesday. They were demanding early declaration of their results.The final year students of BA, BSc, LLB and several other courses gathered in large numbers near administrative block on the CSMU campus and raised anti-university slogans. They were enraged over the delay in the declaration of the results as it would prevent them from taking admission into any professional or post-graduation course. The guards on duty tried to pacify the agitating students, but this only stoked their anger.
Finally, when registrar, CSMU, Syed Waqar Hussain assured students that their final year results would be announced soon, the students stopped their protest.The university authorities, on the other hand, claimed that the process of coding and decoding of answer sheets though ensures fair evaluation, but is a time-consuming process. As soon as the answer copies are checked, the results would be declared, the authorities added.
